Emergency Network Maintenance

Date:
Sun, 25/04/2010 - 20:00 - 22:00

We will be performing emergency maintenance this evening to upgrade our London firewalls to a new release of Junos that we have been provided with by JTAC. It is important that we install this as soon as possible in order to ensure network stability, so unfortunately we are not able to give more notice of this work.

Downtime is expected to be restricted to a few seconds, but the network is at risk during this window. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We have experienced a further issue with our London firewall cluster affecting all traffic at our primary site. We have now restored service and will be scheduling emergency maintenance to apply an operating system update in the next 48 hours.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Resolved: Firewall issue

Date:
Wed, 21/04/2010 - 22:23 - 22:36

We have just rebooted our London firewall cluster following a loss of connectivity. We are still investigating the cause of this issue, but it may require an operating system update that we have just been provided by Juniper Networks and are waiting to schedule.

We will update this page once this update is scheduled. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Scheduled Maintenance: VPN appliance software update

Date:
Sat, 24/04/2010 - 23:00 - 23:30

We will be performing scheduled maintenance to update the software on our VPN appliance.

The upgrade is expected to take around 15 minutes, during which remote access will not be available. Users may have to update ActiveX and Java components in their browsers after the upgrade is complete.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
