Migration from Leading Edge Hosting Systems

This is advanced notice that at 3pm on Friday 8th Feb we will be turning off the Leading Edge Hosting system which Include ns1.leadingedgehosting.co.uk and ns2.leadingedgehosting.co.uk name servers. This will NOT affect those with VPS's on the Leading Edge platform.

Hosted Exchange issue

We are currently experiencing a network issue that is affecting all our Hosted Exchange mailboxes. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, we are looking into this as our highest priority.

All other customers are unaffected and incoming mail will be queued until the service is back up and running.

Scheduled Maintenance: XenServer Upgrade

In order to support new operating systems, deliver new features and in preparation for a forthcoming storage migration, we will be upgrading the XenServer hypervisor that powers our primary site virtual server environment at this time.

All virtual machines will require rebooting to complete the upgrade, but disruption should be restricted to a few minutes as virtual machines will be migrated between hosts as the upgrade progresses. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Scheduled Maintenance: Firewall software upgrade

We will be performing scheduled maintenance during this window to upgrade the software on our primary site firewall cluster. We anticipate less than one minute of disruption, but all services are at risk for the duration of this maintenance window.

This maintenance has been re-scheduled as the software update was not available from the firewall vendor in time for the previous maintenance window.

Scheduled Maintenance: VPN appliance software update

We will be performing scheduled maintenance during this window to upgrade the software on our VPN remote access appliance in order to support new client software. Only SSL VPN remote access and secure file transfer services will be affected, and not production web or email traffic.

After this maintenance is complete clients will need to update their software, which should happen automatically for clients with local Administrator rights when logging in through the web interface.

We apologise for any inconcenience this may cause.

Anti-spam issue

Update 03/07/2012 10:50: This issue should now be resolved and spam filtering should be back to normal.

Emergency Maintenance: MySQL update

MySQL and web services on our main shared hosting server, cpanel02, are currently unavailable whilst we complete an emergency security update to MySQL. This should be completed in the next few minutes and we apologise for any inconvenience caused by this essential maintenance.

Scheduled maintenance: Firewall software upgrade

We will be upgrading the software on our primary firewall cluster during the above maintenance window, in order to gain additional functionality and reliability performance.

We anticipate under 1 minute of disruption to production network traffic, but all services at our primary site are at risk for the duration of this window. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this essential maintenance.

Exchange Issue

We are currently investigating an issue with our hosted Exchange email environment that may prevent sending or receiving email (inbound email will be queued on our anti-spam gateway). We will update this status shortly with further information. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Update 21:07: All Exchange services re now back online and we are currently compiling information on the cause of this issue.

Network Issue

We are currently experiencing a loss of connectivity at our primary site, and our engineers are working to investigate the cause of the issue and resolve it. We apologise for any inconvenicence caused and will update this status shortly.

Update 21:52: This issue is now resolved and we are still looking into the cause.
