Issue with Sending and Receiving email on Cpanel01 (Shared Hosting)

We currently have an issue with sending and receiving email on one of our shared hosting servers. We are looking into the issue now and will provide updates here as soon as we can.

Update 14:09: We believe we have now fixed the issue which was to do with sender verification not working correctly. You email should start to be sent and received again in the next five minutes or so. If you do have any issues after this time, please phone our support team on 03333441270

Virtual Server Disk Issue

A storage issue is continuing to affect some virtual servers and services at our primary site. Our engineers are working on the issue.

Update 06/03/2013 06:05: The issue has been rectified and our engineers are bringing the affected virtual machines back online as fast as possible, but the association between disks and virtual machines is having to be re-created manually so this will take a little time.

Hosted Exchange issue

We are currently experiencing a network issue that is affecting all our Hosted Exchange mailboxes. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused, we are looking into this as our highest priority.

All other customers are unaffected and incoming mail will be queued until the service is back up and running.

Connectivity Loss

We are currently experiencing a connectivity issue which is affecting all Network EQ hosting Customers, those who have Leading Edge services and Hosted Exchange services remain unaffected.

Update 15:49pm: All connectivity has been back up for about 50 minutes with no further loss of connection. We are looking into the cause of the issue and will be taking preventative steps in the planned maintenance tomorrow night.

Intermittent Hosted Exchange Connectivity

We are currently experiencing an issue with intermittent connectivity for our hosted exchange customers. All other customers are unaffected.

We are investigating the problem and will be providing updates on this site.

Update 13:09pm: This is only affecting hosted exchange 2003 customers.

Update 16:27pm: We have now determined the reason for the recurrence of the intermittent connectivity issue and have put a suitable corrective solution in place.

Intermittent Connectivity Issue

We are currently experiencing an intermittent connectivity issue at our main data center which is affecting connectivity to all websites and customer virtual servers, however email will be queued for delivery and then delivered when the issue is resolved.

We are looking into the cause of the problem and will update this post shortly with an update.

Email issue

We are currently experiencing an issue with outbound email where customers who used to be with Leading Edge Hosting are seeing some of their outgoing email bounced back.

This is because the IP address range used by the mail servers for these customers has been incorrectly blacklisted by Spamhaus. The blacklisting is unrelated to us and Leading Edge and we currently have a ticket open with the upstream provider who are resolving the issue and determining why the IP address range was blacklisted unnecessarily.

Anti-spam issue

Exchange Issue

We are currently investigating an issue with our hosted Exchange email environment that may prevent sending or receiving email (inbound email will be queued on our anti-spam gateway). We will update this status shortly with further information. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Update 21:07: All Exchange services re now back online and we are currently compiling information on the cause of this issue.

Network Issue

We are currently experiencing a loss of connectivity at our primary site, and our engineers are working to investigate the cause of the issue and resolve it. We apologise for any inconvenicence caused and will update this status shortly.
